B2B webshop for elobau with Shopware 6 Enterprise

The elo.store online store is all about components, systems and solutions for commercial vehicles, machine safety and level measurement. The company elobau GmbH & Co. KG had the goal to reduce internal efforts for smaller orders and customers. As an e-commerce partner, we worked closely with elobau to create a new B2B online store based on Shopware 6 Enterprise.

The orders of elobau’s customers are mostly submitted and also processed in the classical way. Especially with small customers and orders, internal fixed costs can make it difficult to cover costs. After intensive consultation, the choice fell on Shopware 6 in the Enterprise Edition in order to reduce these internal efforts and also to be well positioned for the future with the latest technology.

Together with elobau, we created a solid foundation for the company’s online business in an agile project process. On this basis, the store can be dynamically developed with new features and is ideally equipped for later internationalization.
The Shopware B2B Suite, which is included in the Shopware 6 Enterprise Edition, offers many advantages. In addition, we have made individual adjustments here.
The product portfolio including all variants was transferred to the store as a CSV import. A special feature of the store is the possibility of individual tabular comparison of technical data of all variants of a main product.

CSV import of the product portfolio

• via an import all products with variants, individual prices and scale prices are imported
• certain “hidden” products can be ordered (only) via the exact article numbers

Comparison of technical data

• all variants of a main product can be compared in a technical data table
• the partly small differences of variants are divided into four categories (electrical data, mechanical data, material information and environmental conditions)
• user-friendly categories and individual variants can be hidden
• from the comparison table articles can be put directly into the shopping cart

Design

Together with our client and an external designer, we implemented the design as an e-commerce partner, which was continuously expanded during the course of the project using the agile process (SCRUM).

As a technical service provider, we implemented a modern, high-performance and user-friendly B2B store in a project with agile working methods. We are completely satisfied with the result.
